Multiplier makes an AI platform for professional stockpickers. We tell friends and investors about the grand vision—making AI that complements humans rather than substituting for them—but we're starting narrow. Here's what we tell customers:

About the role
The product itself is a single pane of glass for all human and agent investment work. (Think: an IDE, but for investors instead of programmers.) Our users are nontechnical but sharp and demanding.
Work will be extremely full-stack. Illustratively, your tasks could include:
- Deciding what infra providers to use for post-training
- Constructing model benchmarks from client Excel files
- Setting up custom model-routing
- Designing and implementing the world's best UI for non-coding agents
- Deploying self-building factor models across diverse investor types
- Writing internal tooling to speed up onboarding
- Making a prose-desloppifying gate
- Building custom skills for a crummy alt data API
- Managing auth across a dozen portals
- Debugging on-prem deployments
- Erecting pipelines for mass document processing
- Deducing client frameworks for news filtration
- Wrestling with Microsoft enterprise infra
- Improving performance
- Reading agent traces to iterate on prompts
- Architecting new features off of vague client desires
- Folding manual QA into CI/CD
About you
- Experienced—at least two years of software engineering. Particular pluses: full-stack roles, client-facing/product-inflected/FDE roles.
- Fast—there's a whole lot to get done.
- Tasteful—although you won't be tasked (unless you really want to be and are good at it) with high-level product design, you need to make friendly, effective UX choices.
- High-ownership—big projects will be entrusted to you early. If you've thought about founding a company yourself, this could be an excellent role.
- Lucid—can you clearly explain technical choices to non-technical audiences?
- Diligent—we're in-office five days a week. The hours are long for tech, though short(ish) for finance.
- Interested—domain expertise isn't necessary, but you'll have to pick some up. So stocks should interest you. Bonus points for following markets, overwhelming bonus points for ever having been a professional stockpicker.
- Moral—not just the generic workplace integrity stuff. We want to work with unusually good people. (If you are one such, you may not think you are. Test: do your friends say so?)

Compensation
$150k-$300k base salary, 1-4% equity.
